NALS Board of Regents Elections/Appointments


Congratulations to the newly elected and appointed members of the Board of Regents of the North American Lutheran Seminary!


The Rev. Dr. Paul Krueger (2026)

Rev. Dr. Paul A. Krueger has served in parish ministry for 31 years, ranging from mission-developer to Senior Pastor of a vibrant multi-staff parish. In addition to thriving parish ministries, he has worked with multi- denominational organizations in Youth, Leadership, and Disaster Response prior to beginning a role as Senior Development Officer for the Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch, an organization helping nearly 1300 at-risk children and their families from across the nation find hope and healing in Christ. Dr. Krueger also serves as a lead trainer for Tentmaker’s Leadership Training, holds a Master’s Degree from Concordia Theological Seminary and a Doctorate Degree in Missional Leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary. He is the recipient of numerous community leadership awards and brings these experiences to the work of the North American Lutheran Seminary. Paul is married to Susann and together they make their home in Minot, North Dakota.

The Rev. James Lehmann (2026)

Rev. Lehman received his MDiv from Wartburg Theological Seminary, Dubuque, IA and was ordained on June 3, 1979, at St. John Lutheran Church, Milford, IL.  He has served congregations in New Douglas, Clifton, Pontiac, and Thomasboro, IL, as well as serving on the Executive Council of the NALC and supervising nine seminarians on their internship from three different seminaries.

Mr. Bruce Randolph (2024)

Bruce Randolph has been in communications for four decades.  His professional path has included executive management, technical design/installation, writing and editing. From digital prepress, radio, web, television, and consulting, he has enjoyed a diverse career which includes his consulting company.

The Rev. Dr. Eric Waters (2026)

Eric heard the call to pastoral ministry when he came to Christ at the age of 23.  He earned his MDiv. from Yale Divinity School (1999) and a DMin. in Biblical Preaching from Luther Seminary (2008).  He has served as an Associate Pastor at First Lutheran Church in Fargo, ND, and Upper Arlington Lutheran Church in Columbus, OH.  He currently serves as Senior Pastor at St. John Lutheran Church in Boerne, TX, outside of San Antonio.  Eric and Michelle have been married for 23 years and are blessed with six children, ages 8 to 19.
